No person will argue that job interviews are not stressful. If you are prepare yourself properly, though, one is properly prepared then there is every chance that you will be able to crack the interview. Questions and answers in a job interview situation not only analyze an applicant?s intelligence but also their quick thinking skills, endurance and overall attitude. Every applicant who makes it to the interview should ensure that they are adequately prepared. An unprepared applicant will not be able to give their best in the interview room. Each applicant who has been chosen for interview will have nearly the same qualification and very similar aspirations. It is very important for the applicant to make themselves stand out from the crowd; personal "branding" is necessary and it always plays a decisive role in an applicant's success.

There are no guides available at present concerning job interview questions and answers that focus on a personal USP. USP is a marketing notion that and is an acronym for "unique selling proposition". A person?s USP has the ability to create an individual representation of them in the mind of the interviewer which will differentiate them from the rest of the candidature. The job interview questions and answers session tests a candidate's nerve, preparation and capacity to persuade the interviewer. The following list is of typical questions:

"Describe yourself." 'Why do you want to join our company?" "How do you manage stress?" "Would you consider yourself to be a team player?" "What is your expected salary?" "Why should we employ you?" "What is your work ethic?" "What is your dream job?" "Why did you leave your previous job?" "Describe your previous job." "Do you have any questions to ask?" etc

Whilst the applicant should carefully prepare their personal profile, it should not appear rehearsed upon presentation at the interview. During this presentation the applicant should provide details concerning their educational qualifications, family background and various achievements. Any achievement in a relevant field should be specifically mentioned. Answers given should be precise and concise, addressing all those present in the room and maintaining appropriate eye contact, exhibiting proper body language and always with a smile.

The candidate should make it clear to the interviewer that they are suitably qualified for the position and that they are a team player for whom the job satisfaction is more important than money, but this should not be overstated. Regarding the reasons for leaving the previous job, a candidate should be honest but should not allow the answer to this question to take too much time. A job seeker should not make demands regarding salary as they may either not be offered the position as they have asked for one that is too high or they may have sold themselves short. Questions and answers will differ slightly between a new job seeker and an experienced person. For a newcomer the focus is on education and other related skills whereas for one who is experienced the focus is on previous work. No job interview question and answer guide will be of any assistance unless a candidate believes in their own abilities.
